According to Pakistani media, in the early hours of Monday, the terrorists first got some people down from the bus and truck and then checked their ID cards. After that, the terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on the people.
The police officer said that armed men blocked the highway at Musakhel and made passengers get down from the vehicles. He said the terrorists also set fire to 10 vehicles. The deceased are said to be residents of Punjab province.
Officials said that police reached the spot and took the bodies to the hospital. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has strongly condemned the incident of terrorism. He expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of those killed in the cowardly action of terrorists, the Chief Minister’s office said.
