The Prime Minister reiterated that India will extend full cooperation to bring peace and stability in the region as soon as possible. The two leaders also discussed the situation in Bangladesh and stressed the need to quickly restore normalcy and ensure the safety of minorities, especially Hindus.

Modi wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “We discussed extensively various regional and global issues, including the situation in Ukraine. An official statement said Modi discussed his recent visit to Ukraine in his talks with Biden. According to the statement, in the phone conversation, Prime Minister Modi and Biden Reiterated their commitment to further strengthen multilateral cooperation including the ‘Quad’.

The statement said that Prime Minister Modi and President Biden underlined that the India-US partnership aims to benefit the people of both countries and humanity as a whole.

PM Modi has recently returned from his historic visit to Ukraine. Countries around the world, including America, were keeping an eye on his visit. There was a sharp reaction from America regarding the PM’s visit to Russia. But India ignored this and kept its relations with Russia strong. During the PM’s visit to Ukraine, the whole world saw it from their own perspective. While America called it a better effort for peace in Europe, many countries called it an example of India’s independent foreign policy.
The Russian media also responded to this by saying that Western countries are constantly putting pressure on India to listen only to them, but India has been a symbol of its independent foreign policy.
